Verses, 1, The Cradled Heart, 1.71

1.71   Once upon a time, He sat in a warm, wooden throne, and held a glowing heart, which levitated in an orb of light above the bowl of his hands.  Then there was a thunder clap, which he could not stop, and which was his provenance, his destiny.  He was startled, and afraid, and he dropped the heart.
